Ich versuche mal etwas...

SzenariO:

Leider haben wir nur einen unbeweglichen Bohrschlitten der auf

3/8-3/8 festgerostet ist und wollen damit einen Ball bohren der

sowohl von einem Rechts- alsauch von einem LinksHänder gespielt

werden kann; bzw.

von jedem Spieler 1x gespielt werden sollte um verblüfft zu sein.

recognize that for every person there is 1span he can bowl with, by

using same span for middle-and-ringFinger. it is possible, be sure.

the layout

we use is logical-> the center line goes straight through the pin an the

center of gravity while placing the pin in 12´oClock position.

Now we drill, taking a bridge of 1/4, the left-Finger-hole drilling the pin

minimal out/(pin-min-below). we take a 31/32 drill bit -deep enough to

put a vise-grip-black-without cutting in. the pitch is 3/8-left & 3/8-reverse.

We cant move the gig

so we move the ball 90´ conter-clock-vise

an get 3/8-right & 3/8-reverse for the right-Finger-hole.**

We want both span´s to be 4 1/2 with a 31/32 ThumbHole

and take the Brunswick-black-quarter in the middle of one fingerHole

straight down an use the scale as a circle. The same with the other

fingerHole and we get one point where both lines and the centerLine

are crossing each other.(/-(nearest point of those 3).)

This is the upper-edge of our thumbHole, which we have to drill next;

The pitch is 3/8 left or right / 3/8 forward or reverse fixed,

this is not the pitch we want to have in our BowlingBall, but it is

possible to rotate the ball  in a position where the sidePitch will be ZERO*

an the reversePitch is what it is. (-it will be not 3/8+3/8...(Anm.d.Verf.))

So we have 3 grip-holes in our ball.

We can vary the size of the inserts to get good feel and improve the grip.

For the same reason we have bolwer´sTape 3/4. While learning to use

tape-and-Insert-Variations it is possible to use the ball right-&leftHanded.

If we bowl only with one hand and have to bowl on heavyOil-patterns

 a X-Hole 31/32, same depth as a fingerHole, on the axis(P) can help

to improve the score- and that´s what it´s all about in the sport of bowling.

**=im Prinzip könnten die Ballhersteller die neuen Bälle schon mit 

diesen 2 FingerLöchern an der Stelle als "Standart" ausliefern um

dem KugekBurschen diese Arbeit abzunehmen;

zur Not bleibt immer noch die Möglichkeit der sog."OffseT"-Bohrung

bei der MittelFinger und Daumen auf einer Linie gebohrt werden-

oder die "OnseT"-Bohrung. Hier werden RingFinger und Daumen

auf einer Linie gebohrt. Der moderne Name dafür lautet 

"dropped-Ring-FingeR"; vieler Pro´s benutzen diese Variante...

die es ebensowenig gibt wie die anderen, da ich an einem runden 

Gegenstand alle Masse und Winkel auf die CenterLine bzw.

den Center-of-Grip beziehen kann.

*= wenn "ViseSwitchGrip´s" benutzt werden stellt man den Winkel

für die Aussenhülse 0/0 ein und fixiert den Ball mit dem Bohrer den

die "InnerSleeve" haben wird auf die richtige Spannlänge;

dann tauscht man einfach den Bohrer aus und bohrt mit dem 1-1/2er,

wie gesagt, 0/0 unter Berücksichtigung der richtigen Bohrtiefe hinein.
